Dumb question: how do I delete the cache in Safari on an iPhone?
Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data
You can also go into Advanced from the Safari settings and selectively remove data on a per site basis
There’s a Chrome extension that clears cache. I’m sure there must also be a Safari one
Thanks, guys. I hate smart phones. No shortcuts…
If you’re troubleshooting and have just cleared Safari’s cache on your desktop, you can press and hold down the Refresh icon in the iPhone’s address bar and select Request Desktop Site.

Test sites using private browser mode in iOS and I assume android. No cache is saved and simply closing the page will ensure the site’s content is forgotten.
