Recently, I have changed my default email client from Apple Mail to Proton Mail. However, when I click the CONTACT link in the footer of a website, it still opens Apple Mail.
Is there a way to force RW to open a default mail client?

Thank you for directing me to those Apple instructions. Indeed, following them does change the behavior of CONTACT link in the footer. It’s strange, though, because ProtonMail already has been designated as my default email client before I made the change in AppleMail’s settings. I had no idea that this obstruction on Apple’s part existed.
So, to sum it all up, this was Apple’s fault and not RW’s.
