If you use Stripe for UK/EU transactions, your fees are about to almost double, from 1.4% plus 20p to 2.5% plus 20p.
This (from what I can tell) includes payments from cards issued by an EU bank but transacted by Stripe into a UK GBP account. And vica versa.
They say it’s because card companies are now treating such transactions as “cross-border”.
