This should be really easy, but I’m actually struggling to get it right.
I want to create the white shape in this image in Affinity Designer as an SVG. I can’t get it exact. Can any of those better at this stuff do it?
On the face of it it’s the easiest thing ever, but I just can’t get it!

My process was to first draw the shape with the pencil tool, then add stroke. But the preportions were all wrong, and then I couldn’t do the spacing around the end of the arm where it crosses the leg.

This app is a good way to convert images to SVG ( any vector format).
The result is quite nice and you can refine the shape in AD.
You need to watch some of the videos on the shape builder tool in Affinity Designer, I was pretty bad at doing things like this, too. After watching some videos and playing with the tool, it’s one of my favourite tools in Affinity Designer.

It will take a certain type of mind to be able to build the end results from lots of shapes, but I’m sure with a bit of practice I could get half way there.
