For anyone interested, by first Blocs project is now ready to go…

€14 launch special. Back to the regular €22 soon.

Looks good - didn’t notice that Blocs has its own form bloc!

A good article here on web fonts, explaining why Eot and SVG are pretty pointless nowadays. It seems the two that really count are Woff and Woff2 https://www.zachleat.com/web/retire-bulletproof-syntax/

I use a wonderful little free app for web font conversions called fontplop https://www.fontplop.com

You can do a lot with forms in Blocs using the basic form bloc and available brics.

One feature that I love about Formloom is that you can use it to populate a google sheet. Do you know if that would be possible? Or a possible feature in a future update @Norm ?

I don’t know if this would help, but there is a free Google docs embed bric https://blocs.store/product/google-doc-embed/

Not really what I was after. Formloom collects the email addresses from the form sign up. This is an option rather than setting up an SQL database like you have to do with Joe’s Post Office stack.

Are you using Formloom 4 with Blocs?

No - Formloom 3 with RW/Foundation.

Form loom 4 And Blocs? Did I miss something?

Just embed a Google Form - it can populate a Google Sheet

  • And if you play with the HTML and CSS a bit, you can customize the look of the form as well. No plugins or extras needed.

Will that also send you an email though?

Blocs offer /39.99/ has just been extended again at Ondesoft’s site.

yes - in fact you have the choice of instant email upon submission, or “daily digest” notification (good for forms that get a lot of submissions…)

Thank you!

I’ve been way from site building for a while. Blocs looks like a really interesting option and I have obviously missed the deal, but £95 GBP looks expensive to buy something to ‘play with’ for a while. I’m not sure how others work, but I can never effectively trial software until I have paid for it, just like @habitualshaker’s brilliant Source. Are there any other CMS systems that work well with RW (excluding TCMS) or plans to bring Volt to RW?

Blocs 4 coming out soon

Yes, Norm at Blocs has been relentlessly adding features regularly to Blocs, and as Piggles mentioned, looks like Blocs4 is getting close to being released.
